Mark replaced our roof at 42 St Albans Road in September 2013. He went to great effort to find tiles that would match the other roofs in the street (it is a conservation area) and produced impeccable leadwork that exactly matched the original flashings. We have employed 'Your Roof' on two occasions: in 2012 to replace a drainpipe that had blown down in a gale and remedy guttering and other previously defective work; and in 2017 to remove a Buddleia that had grown deeply into brickwork surrounding a flat roof and apply solar reflective paint to flat roofs. In both cases Mark was skilful and helpful, often undertaking additional tasks along the way. The first occasion involved working many hours in rain and strong winds into the darkness, at high levels and hence great personal risk, during which he remained cheerful throughout. In addition, Mark took photographs and provided a report on previously defective work, should it be needed in court; and fixed a neighbour's gutter that was within reach. He is ably supported by his wife Sally in the office. Both are a pleasure to deal with. I warmly support their application to Age UK to be a Recommended Tradesman.

We have used Mark for a number of jobs from major replacements of flat roofs to gutter cleaning. When he completes the task, he gives the roofs a once over, replacing dislodged tiles and general check which he does not charge for. His costs are fair and his work of the highest quality.
